The Autism Society of Greater Akron (ASGA) is hosting its third annual Autism Summit on October 12 & 13, 2017. The Autism Summit supports the mission of the Autism Society Greater Akron by offering two major events to bring more awareness and understanding of autism in our community.

Matt Asner, Mr. Asner’s son, has three children with autism, and is Vice President of Development for the Autism Society of America. A one day “conference” focusing on themes of affecting systemic issues in our community to improve the quality of life for individuals with autism and their families. This day brings together parents, self-advocates, educators and professional field personnel to share, learn, and exchange ideas.
Keynote speakers will focus on using best practices and principles to advocate on behalf of yourself, loved ones, and those who need your voice; and affecting change legislatively by becoming a state, federal and local advocate.
