Do you find it hard to locate medical care for your individual with autism? Are visits to the doctor difficult?  Is it time to transition from pediatric care to adult care?  If you are saying yes to any of these questions then this workshop is for you.

• How to find care and build effective relationships with providers
• State of current care for pediatric and adult patients with autism in primary care settings from the “Access to Care Survey”
• Strategies for preparing for transition from pediatric to adult care
• Pre-visit assessment topics and preparation strategies to aid in successful appointments
